116 new cases and 7 deaths of COVID-19 were recorded in all Syrian regions
The various Syrian regions recorded 116 new infections and 7 deaths from the Corona virus, distributed as 50 cases in the north of Syria, 41 in the areas of the Assad regime, as well as 25 cases in the areas of the Syrian Democratic Forces in the northeast of the country.
In the details, the Early Warning and Epidemic Response Network announced that 50 new infections were recorded in all liberated areas during the past hours.
Thus, the total number of infections in northern Syria reached 25,465, and the number of recovery cases reached 22,275, after 32 new cases of recovery were recorded, with 19 cases recorded in the “Spring of Peace” areas.
While the death toll in northern Syria reached 707, and the total number of cases tested yesterday is 394, which brings the number of analyzes to 152,924 tests in northern Syria.
The network indicated that it had confirmed new deaths of positive cases of the Corona virus in the areas of Aleppo and Idlib, which suggests that the number announced during the daily disclosure of the outcome of the epidemic in the liberated north of Syria will increase.
According to the daily update of Corona cases in the Assad regime-controlled areas, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 41 new infections, bringing the total number to 25,328.
While 3 deaths were recorded, bringing the total number to 1,862 in addition to 9 cases of recovery, and thus the number of recovery cases reached 21,783, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Health of the Assad regime.
The Health Authority of the Syrian Democratic Forces for northern and eastern Syria announced 25 new infections and 4 deaths from the Corona virus in its areas of control.
It is noteworthy that the Assad regime is taking advantage of the outbreak of the epidemic in its areas of control and continues to ignore health measures, as is the case in areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces, while warnings about the repercussions of the outbreak of the pandemic are mounting in northern Syria due to the overcrowding of the region, especially in displacement camps.
