The Assad regime prevents the entry of UN aid into Daraa governorate
Yesterday, Sunday, the Assad regime forces prevented the entry of UN aid provided by the World Food Program to Daraa governorate, as part of its campaign to besiege the city with the aim of subjecting it to its hegemony.
The “Ahrar Houran Gathering” stated that preventing the entry of aid into Daraa is one of the measures taken by the Assad regime and the Russian general “Assad Allah” imposed on it, as it has imposed a complete siege since June 24.
The Gathering pointed out that the people of Daraa had not received a notification from the World Food Program, but the Syrian Red Crescent informed them that aid to the area had been suspended.
The areas of Daraa are witnessing a deterioration in the humanitarian situation as a result of the siege and the closure of roads and crossings, towards Daraa al-Mahatta, for 18 consecutive days.
The Russians and the regime are seeking to take revenge on the people of Daraa by various means, because of their refusal to participate in the “presidential elections” play and under the pretext of their refusal to hand over individual weapons
