Reinforcements of the international coalition to the oil fields “Al-Omar and Koniko” in the countryside of Deir Ezzor
Today, Monday, the International Coalition and the Syrian Democratic Forces brought in large reinforcements to the “Al-Omar and Koniko” fields in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, this comes after the repeated targeting of them during the past few days.
The reinforcements that were brought in from the “Rmelan” military base, northeast of Hasaka, include 3 “Bradley 9” and two field guns (130 mm caliber), in addition to various ammunitions and many American soldiers.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Democratic Forces reinforced their positions around and inside the “Al-Omar Field Base” with about 150 members, and erected earth berms in the vicinity of the base, coinciding with the increase in the number of reconnaissance points from 18 to 25 points.
It is noteworthy that the reinforcements came after a missile attack on the bases of the coalition and the American forces in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, without confirmation about the party involved, but the fingers of accusation point to ISIS.
