Considering it a field of experiments, Russia tested 320 types of weapons during its military operations in Syria
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that during the military operations in Syria, the Russian forces tested more than 320 types of advanced weapons.
Shoigu stressed that “we have tested more than 320 types of various weapons, including your helicopters,” and pointed out that the weapons systems of helicopters have undergone a significant development as a result of the operation in Syria.
Shoigu pointed out that in order to ensure the safety of the helicopters, they must be equipped with weapons with a range that exceeds that of air defense systems or portable missile complexes, and added: “We have such weapons today, and this is thanks to the operation in Syria and thanks to your work.”
Shoigu added that the military operations in Syria helped the Russian army examine weapons and take real steps towards developing them, at a time when Russia repeatedly asserts that it has used the bodies and cities of the Syrians to test its deadly weapons.
Shoigu described the operations in Syria as “a separate milestone and a real breakthrough that gave the Russian army a serious and qualitative step forward.” Since September 30, 2015, Russia has continued to put its military arsenal in Syria, and its experience on the bodies of Syrians.
And Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously acknowledged, during his meeting with leaders of the Ministry of Defense and representatives of the defense industry, that the military operations in Syria confirmed the excellence of the new Russian weapons, stressing once again that Russia continues to test its weapons on the bodies of Syrians.
And the Russian military expert, Igor Korotchenko, considered that testing modern Russian weapons on the bodies and homes of civilians in Syria is a “natural step” as it is used in real war conditions to reveal potential defects in them.
