Russia threatens to close Syrian airspace to Israeli planes
Russia threatened for the first time the possibility of closing Syrian airspace to Israeli planes, according to two statements issued by the Russian Defense Ministry two days ago.
After the two Israeli raids that targeted a research center in the countryside of Aleppo and the other a site for Iranian forces in Al-Qusayr, near Homs, the Russian Ministry of Defense published two statements, according to what was reported by Al-Arabiya.
Most of the Israeli missiles are distributed among 4 in the countryside of Homs and 8 in the countryside of Aleppo.
It also stated in the statement, that the first area from which the bombing came is the Lebanese airspace, while the second is from the “Al-Tanf” area located on the border triangle between Syria, Jordan and Iraq.
