New infections with the Corona virus were recorded throughout the Syrian regions
Various Syrian regions have recorded 82 cases of coronavirus, distributed as 53 cases in the north of Syria, and 12 in the areas of the Assad regime, in addition to 17 cases in the areas of the Syrian Democratic Forces in eastern Syria.
In details, the Early Warning and Epidemic Response Network announced that 35 new infections had been recorded in the liberated areas of northwestern Syria.
Thus, the total number of infections in northern Syria reached 26,317, and the number of recovery cases reached 23,224, after 6 cases of recovery were recorded, and the Spring of Peace recorded 18 new injuries, raising the total number to 2,163 and the death toll to 26 cases, with one death recorded.
While the death toll in northern Syria stopped at 722, and the total number of cases tested yesterday is 442, which raises the number of analyzes to 165,868 tests in northern Syria.
The Assad regime’s Ministry of Health announced the registration of 12 new infections with the Corona virus, bringing the total number to 25,954 cases.
While one death was recorded, bringing the total number to 1,913, in addition to that 6 cases of recovery, and thus the number of recovery cases reached 21,980, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Health of the regime.
The infections were distributed, with 5 infections recorded in the Syrian capital, Damascus, 3 in Lattakia, 2 in Aleppo, and the same in Hama Governorate in central Syria. As for the recorded death, it said that it was in Aleppo Governorate.
On the other hand, the Health Authority of the Syrian Democratic Forces announced the registration of 17 infections, with two new deaths from the Corona virus recorded in its areas of control, bringing the number of infected people to 18,677 cases, including 766 deaths and 1,867 cases of recovery.
While the data of global observatories showed that there are at least 12 countries, including Syria, where vaccination rates against the Corona virus are still low, and do not exceed 1%, according to the interactive map published by the “Our World in Data” website.
It is noteworthy that the death toll in Syria has reached 3,427 cases at a time when the Assad regime is known to exploit the outbreak of the epidemic in its areas of control and continues to ignore health measures, as is the case in areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces, while warnings about the repercussions of the outbreak of the pandemic are mounting in northern Syria due to the overcrowding of the region, especially in displacement in Syria.
