65 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in northern Syria
The Early Warning and Epidemic Response Network of the Support Coordination Unit recorded 65 new cases of coronavirus in the northern Syrian regions.
The network indicated that its recorded infections amounted to 27,544 infections, with no new deaths recorded, and thus the number stopped at 727 cases, and 28 new cases of recovery were recorded, bringing the number of recovery cases to 23,441.
The network stated that the number of new analyzes reached 285, which brings the total number to 174 and 862 thousand tests.
Most of the infections were recorded in Idlib city and Harem in Idlib countryside, and Jarablus and Afrin in Aleppo countryside ,and were distributed according to the classification by the health information system.
Warnings are mounting about the repercussions of the outbreak of Corona pandemic in the regions of northern Syria due to the overcrowding of the region, especially in the displacement camps, the great lack of capabilities of the health directorates, and the lack of equipment and machines, which in turn work to limit the spread of the virus.
