A woman was killed and her child was wounded by a laser bombardment by the Assad regime in Idlib countryside
Civilians were killed and a number of others were injured this morning, as a result of the Assad regime’s targeting of a number of villages and towns in Jabal Al-Zawiya, south of Idlib.
Our correspondent said: “A woman was martyred and her child was wounded this morning, as the Assad regime forces targeted the village of Mara’an in Jabal Al-Zawiya with Krasnopol laser bombs.”
He added that a similar bombardment targeted the outskirts of the village of Balshon, without information on the extent of human and material losses.
Our correspondent indicated that the only health center in Jabal Al-Zawiya was out of service after being targeted by the Assad regime forces this morning.
Our correspondent stated that Russian warplanes launched air strikes on the outskirts of the town of “Al-Bara”, south of Idlib, without information on the extent of the losses.
And our correspondent continued: “The revolutionary factions targeted several sites belonging to the Assad regime forces in the countryside of Idlib, Hama and Latakia, in response to targeting civilians in the liberated areas.”
The death toll of Idlib city martyrs rose to four yesterday evening, after the city was targeted with dozens of shells and missiles, by the Assad regime forces from their positions in the city of Saraqib, according to the Syrian Civil Defense Organization.
For months, the de-escalation zone in northwestern Syria has witnessed a military escalation by the forces of the Assad regime and Russia, which has caused the death of dozens of civilians and the displacement of dozens of families from Jabal al-Zawiya, in violation of the March 5 ceasefire agreement between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
