Israeli channel: The gas that Lebanon is preparing to receive comes from Israel
The Israeli Channel 12 confirmed in a report published on its website that the Egyptian gas, which Lebanon is preparing to receive through Jordan and Syria, is a gas originating from Israel.
The Channel indicated that there is a plan supervised by the administration of the American president Joe Biden to save Lebanon from the darkness caused by the acute shortage of electricity through supplying the country with Egyptian gas coming from Sinai via Jordan and Syria.
The Channel explained that “the plan depends on the use of gas flowing from Aqaba through a pipeline at the bottom of the Red Sea, and from there through Jordan and then to Syria, through which it will be transported to Lebanon.
Under that plan, the US administration will exempt the Assad regime from the sanctions previously imposed on it, and the Arab countries will renew their relations with it without an American objection preventing them from doing so.
The source stressed that the Assad regime and “Hezbollah” know the truth about the source of the gas, and do not talk about it publicly, pointing out that the benefit that the regime will derive from this project is a reminder of its return to the Arab arena.
