3 deaths and 49 cases of COVID-19 were registered in northwest Syria
The Early Warning Network registered, in its latest statistics on October 9, 2021, 49 new coronavirus cases in northwestern Syria, bringing the number of infections to 77,016.
According to the report issued by the Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory of the Early Warning Network, 49 coronavirus cases were registered, after 128 new analyses were conducted, while the recovery cases rose to 44,300 after 562 cases of recovery were registered.
According to the observatory, the number of deaths related to the virus rose to 1,410 after three new deaths were registered, and indicated that the smears had run out and the number of analyses was low in Idlib.
At the same time, warnings are mounting about the repercussions of the outbreak of the pandemic in the regions of northern Syria due to the overcrowding of the region, especially in the displacement camps.
