Dozens of civilians were killed after Assad regime shelling struck Ariha city south of Idlib
This morning, the Assad regime forces committed a horrific massacre in Ariha city, south of Idlib, after targeting it with heavy artillery shells.
Our correspondent said: ” 1o civilians were killed and more than 3o were injured ,including children, as a result of the intensive shelling that hit Ariha city this morning”.
He added: “Targeting Ariha city coincided with students going to their schools, and citizens going to their work.
He pointed to the intense flight of Russian reconnaissance planes over the city, coinciding with targeting them with dozens of artillery shells.
Our correspondent pointed out that the death toll was likely to rise with scores of injured civilians in a critical condition and they were transported to hospitals in Idlib city.
Our correspondent continued, that the intense bombardment caused a state of fear and panic among civilians.
The city of Ariha, south of Idlib, is one of the densely populated cities, south of the governorate, as it contains tens of thousands of civilians, both residents and displaced people.
