5 Deaths and 37 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in northwestern Syria
Yesterday, 37 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in northwestern Syria, bringing the total number of infections to 89,625 since the virus began spreading.
According to the report issued by the Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory of the Early Warning Network, 37 Corona virus cases were recorded, after 202 new analyses were conducted, while the recovery cases rose to 52,648 after 409 recovery cases were recorded.
According to the observatory, the number of deaths associated with COVID-19 rose to 1,892 after 5 new deaths were recorded.
The number of analyzes that have been conducted until the 6th of this month has reached 304,373 since the pandemic outbreak in the middle of last year.
It is noteworthy that the escalation of the infection rate in northern Syria leads to an increase in the occupancy rate in hospitals, especially in the intensive care departments, and the vaccination coverage rate in northwestern Syria is still low, and work must be done to increase the demand for vaccination and to raise the percentage of vaccinated people.
