28 COVID-19 cases were recorded in northern Syria
Yesterday, northwestern Syria recorded 28 COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections to 92,434 since the start of the pandemic.
According to the report issued by the Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory of the Early Warning Network, 28 coronavirus cases were recorded, after 450 new analyzes were conducted, while the number of people recovered reached 101, bringing the number of recovery cases to 63,644.
According to the epidemiological surveillance laboratory, the death toll reached 2,264, after one death was recorded, and the total number of COVID-19 tests reached 319,830 in northern Syria.
The observatory stated that the percentage of positive Covid-19 cases rose to 6% of the total number of 28 cases.
Warnings about repercussions of the pandemic outbreak are mounting due to the overcrowding in the region, especially in displacement camps.
