40 COVID-19 cases were recorded in northwestern Syria
Yesterday, Tuesday, the Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory of the Early Warning Network announced that the number of Covid-19 cases in northwestern Syria has risen to 92,698.
According to the report issued by the Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory, 40 coronavirus cases were recorded yesterday, after 844 new analyzes were conducted, while the number of people recovered reached 134, 26 of them in Idlib Governorate, and 108 in the “Olive Branch” and “Euphrates Shield” areas, bringing the number of recovery cases to 65000.
The infections were distributed among the cities and towns of Idlib governorate, the governorate recorded 28 infections, while the cities and towns of the northern and eastern Aleppo countryside recorded 12 infections.
While the past hours recorded one death, bringing the number of deaths to 2,273 since the virus began spreading in northwest Syria, according to the informant.
Warnings are increasing from the World Health Organization, about the new mutant of Corona virus, as the organization stated, that the spread of the new mutant of the virus is faster than the mutant “Delta”.
It is noteworthy that the number of analyzes that have been conducted has reached 324,343 since the pandemic outbreak in the middle of last year.
