Israeli air strikes hit Masyaf city in western Hama countryside
Yesterday, several Israeli air strikes hit Masyaf city in western Hama countryside.
A military source of the Assad regime said: “the Israeli enemy launched an aerial aggression from the direction of the north of Lebanon that targeted some points in the central region as the army air defenses confronted it and shot down a number of missiles.”
According to Hebrew media sources: “the attack is the first of its kind since six months, which took place during daylight, and the attack targeted research centers for missiles development linked to Lebanese Hezbollah.
The same sources added that this operation is the first in the era of the new commanding officer of the Israeli Air Force, Major General Tomer Bar.
The sources indicated that the Israeli raids targeted several military position: a military position on the outskirts of Masyaf, the scientific research centre “Defense Lab”, and a military position in Al-Suwayda village.
