Earlier the Special Representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and African, Mikhail Bogdanov, announced that the meetings of Astana format will be held in Nur-Sultan on June 14-16.
It is noteworthy that on December 24, 2021, the parties participating in the Astana meetings concluded their 17th round of negotiations in the Kazakh capital, Nur-Sultan, without making any significant progress in any of the Syrian solution files, at a time these conferences became a door to wasting time and passing what Russia wants through the policy of undermining international efforts to reach a solution in Syria.
