Khamenei has told Erdogan that any new military strike will harm Syria
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei told Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during the tripartite summit today, Tuesday, that any military strike would be carried out by Ankara against the Syrian Democratic Forces’ sites in northeastern Syria would destabilize the region.
Khamenei added that such military operation will harm Syria, the region and Turkey, according to a statement published on his official website.
Iran hosts the seventh summit of the presidents of the three guarantor states of Astana peace process (Iran, Russia and Turkey), which will address issues of mutual interest, particularly the Syrian issue and the repercussions of the Ukrainian crisis.
