Turkish Interior Minister: We will not abandon the Syrian people
Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu stressed that Turkey will not abandon the Syrians who suffer from the oppression of the Assad regime and the Syrian Democratic Forces.
Soylu tweeted on his official account and denied the statements attributed to him published previously on social media in northern Syria.
Soylu said following his affirmation of not abandoning the Syrians alone “Turkey preserves its humanity, friendship, and neighborhood.”
Soylu explained that the matter has become understandable, and this is a provocative scheme, which the Syrian Democratic Forces and Assad regime absolutely stand behind it.
It is noteworthy that social media pages reported statements attributed to Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu, accusing the Syrian opposition of abandoning the revolution when it abandoned the south, Ghouta and Aleppo. He pointed out that Turkey is a neighboring country and they can’t do more than of what they did.
