Turkish party welcomes the recent statements of the Turkish Foreign Minister
The Turkish “Nationalist Movement” Party leader Devlet Bahceli welcomed yesterday the recent statements of the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu concerning the reconciliation between the opposition and the Assad regime.
“The statements of our foreign minister were a step towards establishing peace and stability between the opposition and the Assad regime, and it is the most appropriate solution to end the Syrian crisis,” Bahceli said in a statement issued by the official website of the Turkish “Nationalist Movement”, an ally of the “Justice and Development” party.
Bahceli added, “One of the most important political issues that Tukey seeks to achieve is the expulsion of terrorist organizations from all the areas where they are exist through raising the level of political dialogue with the Assad regime.
On February 11, 2020, Bahceli called on to overthrow the Assad regime after the killing of five Turkish soldiers in aerial shelling targeted one of the Turkish checkpoints in Jabal al-Zawiya, south of Idlib.
Several angry demonstrations took place in different regions in northwestern Syria against the recent statements of the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu included Jarabulus, Azaz, Marea, al-Rai and al-Bab in Aleppo countryside and the towns of Suluk and Tal Abyad, north of Raqqa and Idleb.
