Israel’s Defense Minister: We will push Iran and the Hezbollah militia out of Syria
Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said during a visit to one of the Israeli army divisions that “Tel Aviv will push Iran and the Hezbollah militia out of Syria.”
Gallant added that “we have tensions on all fronts as the Iranians are extending their outreach to Judea, Samaria (West Bank), Lebanon’s borders, Syria, as well as Gaza, and we see that.”
Gallant also added that “Iran is trying to base itself in Syria to carry out operations against Israel, and he emphasized that, if necessary, we will beat and push them out of Syria to where they belong – and that is Iran and not here.”
It is noteworthy that Israel has launched for years hundreds of attacks and airstrikes on Syria, targeting Iranian and Hezbollah sites, including weapons and ammunition depots in separate areas.
