New quadripartite meeting in Moscow will be held on sidelines of Astana track meeting
Al-Watan (Pro-Assad regime newspaper) reported that the quadripartite committee at the level of deputy foreign ministers of Turkey, Iran, Russia and the Assad regime will hold a new meeting this June in Moscow.
The meeting will be held on the sidelines of “Astana” track meeting, which is scheduled for June 20-21, according to Al-Watan newspaper.
The director of the Syrian issue in Turkey Kurhan Qaraqosh said that the quadripartite meeting, which is scheduled to be held, is ongoing with the coordination of the Syrian opposition.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said previously that the real work to normalize relation between Turkey and the Assad regime has already begun.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov proposed on May 10, during the meeting of foreign ministers of the four sides in Moscow, to prepare a road map for normalizing relations between the Assad regime and Turkey.
