Israeli airstrikes target Assad regime positions in Daraa countryside
Media sources reported that Israeli aircrafts conducted several airstrikes on Assad regime’s positions in the Daraa countryside, resulting in casualties among them.
The sources said: “The Israeli strikes targeted the radar system in the Tal al-Kharouf area, east of Nahta town in the eastern Daraa countryside, which led to its destruction and injuring an Assad regime member.”
The sources added: “The Israeli raids targeted the Izraa agricultural airport and the radar battalion of the 79th Air Defense Brigade located between the city of Al-Sanamayn and the town of Al-Qaniya, north of Daraa, injuring two members of Assad regime forces.”
These raids came hours after the attack carried out by Israeli aircraft on sites in Damascus, which led to the killing of 3 people and injuring 9 others.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli bombardment of several sites in Syria came after the Israeli army announced a targeted and precise ground operation against the “Hezbollah” militia in southern Lebanon, which it called operation “Northern Arrows.”
