Media sources reported that “Israeli jet fighters launched airstrikes on Iranian militia sites in Sayyidah Zaynab area in the southern Syrian capital, Damascus, on Monday evening, November 4.
The sources said: “The Israeli airstrikes concentrated on three points which they are Sayyidah Zaynab city, the surrounding of International Damascus Airport Hotel, and the surrounding of Najha town.”
The sources added: “The Israeli airstrikes on Iranian-backed militia sites in the region resulted in casualties.”
Israeli warplanes targeted earlier a meeting of the Quds Force near the Sayyida Zeinab area in Syria, and the Israeli warplanes also renewed the attack on military sites of the Assad regime forces and Iran in the Damascus countryside.
It is noteworthy that several sites of the Assad regime and Iranian militias have been repeatedly subjected to Israeli airstrikes in the areas of Damascus and its countryside, Homs, Hama, and Aleppo, so Assad regime responded by shelling areas outside its control in Syria.
