World Health: More than 15,000 deaths from the Coronavirus in the past 24 hours
For the first time since the beginning of the Corona pandemic, the World Health Organization recorded more than 15,000 deaths from the emerging virus during the past 24 hours.
The World Health Organization said on its website, that the death toll from corona infection rose around the world during the past 24 hours, by 15,454 deaths, “among them 4176 deaths in the United States” compared to 14,307 deaths, yesterday, Saturday.
The organization indicated that 799,712 new infections were recorded in the new corona, more than a third of which were 277,195 in the United States alone.
The United States recorded the highest daily increase in Corona injuries, and the latest statistics indicated that at least 294 thousand cases of the virus were recorded, in the highest daily increase since the beginning of Corona in the United States, according to the “Reuters” news agency.
The total number of virus infections in the world, according to the statistics of the United Nations, reached 87 million and 589,206 confirmed infections, including one million and 906,606 deaths.
