Unidentified persons kill a child in Al-Raqqa on the pretext that her family did not pay the “financial ransom”
Unidentified people killed a girl yesterday, Thursday, after she was kidnapped three days ago in Ad-Diriyah in the city of Raqqa, after her family had demanded a ransom.
Activists reported that an unidentified group kidnapped the girl “Shahd Hatim” three days ago, and killed her under the pretext that her family had not paid the ransom amounting to 15 thousand US dollars.
Activists said that the girl’s body was found in a bag in her relatives ’neighbors’ house, while initial information indicates that the girl’s family’s neighbors are the perpetrators of the kidnapping and murder.
It is worth noting that the areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces have previously witnessed similar cases, where the kidnappers intend to kidnap people, especially children, with the aim of extorting their families to obtain huge sums of money.
