Ahmed Sheikho : The work of the civil defense teams included 600 camps in northern Syria

The Syrian Civil Defense announced today, Thursday, the launch of a project to “clean” roads and repair sanitation in northern Syrian camps.

The director of the media office in the civil defense, Ahmed Sheikho, told Fresh Online, “The aim of the project is to help civilians access the humanitarian aid and basic facilities necessary to continue their lives in a better way.”

Sheikho added, “The work of the civil defense teams in the camps included 600 camps throughout northern Syria, and 30 camps were chosen, distributed 7 in the western countryside of Idlib, 14 in the northern countryside of Idlib, and 9 in the northern and eastern countryside of Aleppo.”

Sheikho pointed out that “these camps are considered one of the most damaging camps during the winter season and roads are cut off and drowned as a result of rain and form mud and mud.”

He stressed, “The civil defense works on two plans, the first is long-term, so that teams continue to work in summer and winter in the camps and meet the most needy and most needy needs, and the second is short-lived, so that our teams are present alongside civilians in the event of any emergency such as drowning or fires or preparing immediate needs in the infrastructure.
“.

According to Sheikho, the civil defense teams are working on preparing and leveling camp roads, in addition to assisting in repairing sewage networks, providing logistical services, and pulling out vehicles exposed to traffic accidents in Deir Hassan, Mashhad Rohain and Qah, and the camps of Atma, Kafrlossin, Babsaqa and Aqrabat.

The Syrian Civil Defense teams continue to provide services to civilians and respond to the camps north of Idlib, with the aim of alleviating the suffering of the people, and ensuring that aid and the facilities necessary for them reach them in their lives.
