Hariri calls for the opening of safe crissings between the areas of the Assad regime and the opposition
The head of the Syrian National Coalition, Nasr al-Hariri, called for the opening of safe passages between the areas controlled by the Assad regime and the Syrian north, which is under the control of the Syrian opposition.
This came during Hariri’s post on his Twitter account, in which he said: “After the massive displacement of our Syrians from the regime-controlled areas to the liberated areas, it has become necessary to study the idea of opening safe corridors for the Syrians to exit from the Assad regime’s control and brutal areas.”
Hariri added that his call to open these corridors aims to provide conditions for the people to leave the Assad regime-controlled areas towards the liberated areas, so that they can live in safety and stability, where the necessities of life are available to them.
The “Syrian Center for Schism and Safety” published a few days ago, a video clip of young men from the Alawite community who left the Assad regime-controlled areas and headed through Idlib to Turkey, to escape forced conscription and the deteriorating security situation.
