Response Coordinators: The Assad regime’s violations of the ceasefire agreement amounted to 208 violations since the beginning of Ramadan
Today, Monday, the Syria Response Coordinators Team counted the violations by the Assad regime and the Russian forces of the ceasefire agreement in northwestern Syria since the beginning of the month of Ramadan, with 208 violations, including Russian air strikes in the region.
The report explained the violations were distributed in all the areas covered by the ceasefire agreement, most of which were in Idlib (101), then Hama countryside (41), then Latakia countryside (38), and then in the countryside of Aleppo (28).
The report included updates to figures for the displaced from the areas of the ceasefire agreement, and those returning to them, in the villages and towns of the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib, since the agreement was signed on March 5, 2020.
The report indicated that the total number of displaced persons reached 1,041,233, of whom 561,746 people have returned, including 216,698 children.
The report indicated the percentage of humanitarian response by organizations operating in northwestern Syria since the beginning of the month of Ramadan, as it reached 19.45% in regular camps, 8.60% in informal camps, and 25.30% in villages and towns housing displaced people, compared to 7.2% in villages and towns. Which is witnessing the return of the displaced.
The report of the response coordinators indicated that since the beginning of the month of Ramadan, the regions of northwestern Syria have recorded 283 new cases of the Coronavirus, including 21 cases in the camps, and 7 injuries among the medical personnel.
