A civilian was killed and others were wounded by artillery shelling of the Assad regime forces on Jabal Al-Zawiya, south of Idlib
A child was killed and two civilians were wounded this morning, as a result of heavy artillery shelling targeting several villages and towns in Jabal Al-Zawiya, south of Idlib, by the forces of the Assad regime.
Our correspondent in Idlib countryside said: “A child was killed and other civilians were wounded by artillery shelling of the Assad regime forces, targeting the village of Mashoun in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern Idlib countryside.”
He added, that the Assad regime forces have targeted with heavy artillery since the early morning, the vicinity of Ihsem towns and Al-Bara, the southern outskirts of Ibleen village and the outskirts of Balyoun town in Jabal Al-Zawiya.
He pointed out that “the revolutionary factions responded to the bombing of the Assad regime’s forces by targeting the latter’s sites inside the village of Hazarin, south of Idlib, which led to casualties between them.
The Assad regime forces targeted several areas in the southern countryside of Idlib and western Hama yesterday, which led to civilian casualties, in addition to the outbreak of fires in agricultural lands.
From time to time, the Assad regime forces deliberately escalate artillery and missile attacks on the southern countryside of Idlib, especially Jabal al-Zawiya, to prevent civilians from returning to their villages and towns and preventing them from reaping their agricultural crops.
It is noteworthy that the Syrian National Coalition warned of the military escalation taking place in the southern countryside of Idlib, and called on the international community to assume its responsibilities towards the situation in Syria, and to take the necessary steps to impose the political path on the Assad regime.
