Erdogan: We are doing everything we can to ensure a bright future for Syria
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said: “We will continue to do our utmost to ensure a bright future for our neighbor Syria on the basis of its territorial integrity and political unity.”
In a speech during his participation, via video call from Istanbul, in the opening ceremony of the “Afrin Upper Dam” and the extension of drinking water lines in the southern state of Kilis, Erdogan added: “Large parts of the Syrian areas close to our borders have been made safe.”
Erdogan addressed the refugees inside Turkey fleeing from injustice and killing in their countries, saying: “Be patient, for God is with the patient, and after tribulation there is only relief, and there is no doubt that the supplication of the oppressed will one day triumph over the tyranny of the oppressor.”
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed last month that Turkey, alongside its people, is determined, God willing, to save the brothers in Iraq and Syria from the clutches of the Syrian Democratic Forces.
Turkey and its loyal factions control 9,000 km2 in northern Syria by launching 3 military operations.
