64 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in northern Syria
Today, Monday, the Early Warning and Epidemic Response Network of the Support Coordination Unit announced the registration of 64 new infections with the Corona virus in northwestern Syria.
The network recorded 45 new cases of infection in the countryside of Aleppo and 19 in Idlib governorate, noting that the total number of infections in northwest Syria rose to 24,740 cases.
The Alert Network conducted 592 new analyzes, bringing the total of analyzes in the governorates of Idlib and Aleppo to 146,084 analyzes, noting that 90 cases of recovery from the virus were recorded, bringing the total cases of recovery to 21,444 cases.
During the last 24 hours, all Syrian regions recorded 5 deaths and 158 new infections with the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19), in addition to recording 99 cases of recovery from the virus.
It is noteworthy that the vaccination campaign against Corona was launched in Idlib on May 1, 2021, targeting medical and relief cadres and medical personnel from local organizations through the Syria Vaccine Team.
