A civilian was killed and others were wounded in artillery shelling by the Assad regime forces on Idlib and Aleppo countryside
A civilian was killed and another was wounded this morning, Wednesday, as a result of artillery shelling by the Assad regime forces targeting the city of Atarib in the western countryside of Aleppo.
Our correspondent said: “The Assad regime forces targeted, with heavy artillery, the city of Atarib, west of Aleppo, which led to the death of a woman and the wounding of her child.”
He added: “The Assad regime forces targeted with artillery the vicinity of a Turkish military post in “Tal Al-Badran” in the town of Kansafra, causing embarrassment to three soldiers.”
He pointed out that the Turkish army stationed in the town of Kansafra targeted, with heavy artillery, positions of the Assad regime forces in the southern countryside of Idlib, in response to the latter’s targeting of a military point in the town.
The Assad regime forces are continuing their campaign of military escalation in the de-escalation zone included in the March 5 ceasefire agreement between the Turkish and Russian sides.
The Southern District Directorate of the Syrian Civil Defense has documented the death of more than 32 civilians, including 2 children, 5 women, a civil defense volunteer, and the injury of 66 others since the beginning of the escalation campaign, which is entering its third week in the countryside of Idlib, Hama and Aleppo.
