36 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in northwestern Syria
Yesterday, Monday, northwestern Syria recorded 36 new cases of the emerging coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections to 25,570 since the virus began spreading.
According to the report issued by the Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory of the Early Warning Network, 36 cases of coronavirus were recorded yesterday, after conducting 347 new analyzes, while the number of people recovered reached 20 cases, bringing the number to 22,415 cases of recovery, and 3 cases were recorded in the camps for the displaced.
The infections were distributed among the cities and towns of Idlib governorate, so that the governorate recorded 4 infections, while the largest number was recorded in the cities of Afrin, Azaz and Al-Bab.
The number of deaths reached 709, after a death related to the Corona virus was recorded during the past forty-eight hours, according to the epidemiological surveillance laboratory.
It is noteworthy that the number of cases that have been tested in the northwestern region of Syria has reached 153,534 tests since the outbreak and spread of the virus.
