61 UN trucks enter Idlib through Bab al-Hawa crossing
The United Nations sent 61 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid to Idlib Governorate and its countryside, northwest Syria.
According to Anatolia, the aid convoy entered Syrian territory from the “Giloh Gozo” crossing in Hatay province, southern Turkey, opposite Bab al-Hawa from the Syrian side.
Humanitarian aid will be distributed to the needy in Idlib and its countryside.
The Bab al-Hawa crossing is the only internationally recognized port of entry for humanitarian aid into northwestern Syria, after Russian pressure in the Security Council led to the closure of the rest of the crossings.
