52 new cases and two deaths of COVID-19 were recorded in northern Syria
The Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory of the Early Warning and Epidemic Response Network announced the registration of 51 new infections in the liberated areas of northwestern Syria.
Thus, the total number of infections in northern Syria reached 25,705, and the number of recovery cases reached 22,501, after 9 new cases of recovery were recorded, with 7 infections recorded in the “Spring of Peace” areas, bringing the number to 2,007 infections and 22 deaths.
While the death toll in northern Syria reached 709, and the total number of cases tested yesterday is 419, which brings the number of tests to 155,419 in northern Syria.
The network pointed out that two new deaths were reported during the past 24 hours, and said that there were no cases of health sector workers, 3 cases were accepted in the hospital, and 14 cases were displaced inside the camps.
The network indicated that it had confirmed new deaths of positive cases of the Corona virus in the areas of Aleppo and Idlib, which suggests that the number announced during the daily disclosure of the outcome of the epidemic in the liberated north of Syria will increase.
The Syrian Civil Defense teams had previously transferred the bodies of people from centers and hospitals related to the Corona virus in northern Syria and buried them according to strict preventive measures, and also indicated that suspected cases of infection with the virus were transferred to quarantine centers.
