Nine new cases of coronavirus were recorded in northern Syria

The Early Warning and Epidemic Response Network of the Support Coordination Unit announced the registration of nine new infections with the Corona virus in the northern Syrian regions.

The network concerned with monitoring the outcome of Corona stated that the recorded infections reached 26 thousand and 168 cases, without recording new deaths, and thus the number stopped at 717 deaths.

28 New cases of recovery were recorded, bringing the number of people recovering from the virus to 22,989 people, and the Network pointed out that the number of new analyzes reached 95, which raises the total number to 161,950 tests.

While the outcome of the epidemic remained in the liberated areas of the “Spring of Peace” areas, northeastern Syria, without recording new infections, and stopped at 2,085 injuries and 25 deaths, without recording new deaths.

For its part, the Syria Vaccine Team, as part of the “Covid 19 Vaccination Campaign”, announced the continuation of vaccinating people with chronic diseases and the elderly, and the vaccination teams continue to vaccinate health workers and humanitarian workers.
