Civilians were wounded by Assad regime artillery shelling on Jabal al-Zawiya, south of Idlib
Today, Monday, a number of civilians were wounded by artillery shelling of the Assad regime forces targeting the towns and villages in the southern countryside of Idlib.
Fresh’s reporter said that five civilians, including two children and a woman, were wounded, as a result of artillery shelling by the Assad regime forces targeting the vicinity of Urm al-Jawz village in the southern countryside of Idlib. Civil Defense teams treated the injured and inspected the places that were bombed.
Our correspondent added that the towns of Balion and Al-Rami and the villages of Sfuhun, Al-Fateera and Felifel in the southern countryside of Idlib were subjected to similar missile and artillery bombardment by the Assad regime forces, which left widespread destruction and displaced dozens of families from the targeted and adjacent areas to the camps, villages and towns of the northern and western Idlib countryside near the Turkish border.
The reporter stated that the bombing coincided with intense flight of Russian and Iranian reconnaissance planes, which in turn monitor ground targets and send direct coordinates to the positions of the artillery and missile launchers of the Assad regime forces.
A child was killed and three women and two children from one family were injured, yesterday, Sunday, by laser-guided “Krasnopol” shells targeting the vicinity of the city of Darat Izza in the western countryside of Aleppo.
The Assad regime forces also carried out two massacres with similar bombardment, last Saturday, in the villages of Ehsem and Sarja in the southern countryside of Idlib, in which 14 civilians, including four children, were killed and more than 15 others were wounded with varying degrees. The countryside of Idlib, Hama and Latakia suffers almost daily violations by Assad regime forces.
