Assad regime forces target Daraa al-Balad neighborhoods with rockets
Daraa al-Balad neighborhoods have subjected this morning to a fierce bombardment by the so-called highly destructive Elephant Rockets and mortar shells, coinciding with violent clashes that took place on the city’s axes between fighters of the region and Assad and Iranian militias.
Activists said that Assad’s militia launched an attack with the aim of advancing on three axes in the city of Daraa al-Balad, especially from the southwestern axis, under the cover of intense and violent bombardment.
Activists indicated that the city of Daraa, which is under the control of the Assad regime, witnessed a movement of ambulances.
In an attempt to cover up their crimes by bombing civilians in Daraa al-Balad, al-Assad forces targeted the western garage in Daraa al-Mahatta with a missile in order to accuse the fighters of Daraa al-Balad, the road to the dam and the camp, with the aim of diverting public opinion about what is happening in the besieged neighborhoods.
The shell fired by the Assad militia on Daraa Al-Mahatta resulted in the death and injury of at least two people.
Mystery still dominates the scene in Daraa al-Balad, where the Assad regime did not lift the siege on the besieged neighborhoods, nor did it withdraw the large military reinforcements it had brought in, but rather escalated its bombardment during the past hours, awaiting what the coming hours will offer.
