Russian airstrikes and Assad regime artillery shelling target the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib
Today, Monday, Russian warplanes carried out several airstrikes on the towns of Jabal Al-Zawiya and Aleppo western countryside, in conjunction with artillery shelling by Assad regime forces on the area and Hama western countryside.
Fresh correspondent said that the Russian warplanes targeted with seven air strikes with vacuum missiles Deir Sunbul town, and with four airstrikes Al-Barah town, and with several airstrikes Kansafra town in Jabal Al-Zawiya, in conjunction with artillery shelling by Assad regime forces, targeting the vicinity of Al-Bara and Dersanbul towns, south of Idlib, and only material damage was caused in the targeted areas.
The correspondent added that Russian warplanes targeted with three airstrikes near Darat Izza city, west of Aleppo, and al-Sheikh Soliman area in Aleppo western countryside, but no casualties were reported.
Our correspondent stated that the Assad regime forces also targeted, with heavy artillery, Al-Ziyarah town and the villages of Al-Ankawi and Khirbet Al-Naqous in Al-Ghab Plain in Hama western countryside.
The bombing of the Assad regime forces, backed by Russian warplanes, continues to escalate the “de-escalation” area in Idlib governorate and the related countryside from the governorates of Aleppo, Hama and Latakia, causing civilian casualties, most of whom are women and children, in continuous violation of the ceasefire agreement signed since March last year.
