Turkish Defense Ministry: We are committed to ensure stability and cease-fire in Idleb
Yesterday, Sunday, the official in the Media and Public Relations Department of the Turkish Defense Ministry, Pinar Kara, said that Turkey is committed to its responsibilities to ensure security and stability and preserve the cease-fire in Idlib.
She clarified that the Turkish army in northwest Syria resumes its confrontation against terrorist entities, and these activities are continuing to guarantee and facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid and support the infrastructure and life of the population.
She added “the attacks carried out by Assad regime forces in the regions where Turkey established security and stability, killed four civilians and injured twenty other, including children, in Idlib province during the last August.
She indicated “There is no change in our observation points or our activities in Idlib”, and stated that Ankara is waiting for the countries to abide by the agreements concerning the north of Syria.
Kara stressed that Ankara informs the Russian side of the need to stop the aforementioned attacks, and the Turkish forces are working to destroy the targets that carry out the attacks.
