The Early Warning Network records 61 new COVID-19 cases in northern Syria
The Early Warning and Epidemic Response Network announced the registration of 61 new Covid-19 infections in the liberated areas of northern Syria, bringing the total number of infections in northern Syria to 91,961 and the number of recovery cases to 60,090, after 194 new recovery cases were recorded.
The death toll also reached 2,195, after 4 deaths were recorded, and the total number of cases tested until yesterday was 443, bringing the total number to 315,804 tests in northern Syria.
While the “Spring of Peace” regions in the northeast of the country recorded 9 new Covid-19 cases, and the number of infections rose to 10,925, 4,181 recoveries and 79 deaths.
It should be noted that Covid-19 death toll is rising on a daily basis in northern Syria, while warnings about the repercussions of the pandemic outbreak are rising due to the overcrowding of the region, especially in the displacement camps.
