16 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in northwestern Syria

Yesterday, Sunday, northwestern Syria recorded 16 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections to 92,973 since the start of the pandemic.

According to the report issued by the Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory of the Early Warning Network, 16 coronavirus cases were recorded, after 397 new analyzes were conducted, while the number of people recovered reached 61, bringing the number of recovery cases to 67,686.

According to the epidemiological surveillance laboratory, the total number of Covid-19 tests reached 333,520 in northern Syria.

One death was recorded during the past hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,320 since the virus began spreading in northwest Syria, according to the informant.

Warnings about the repercussions of the pandemic outbreak are mounting due to the overcrowding in the region, especially in displacement camps.
