Iran: The continuation of the war is not a solution and do not test the anger of the region

Iran’s Foreign minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, condemned on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, the latest US attacks on Yemen, Iraq, and Syria.

Abdollahian claimed that the security of Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Palestine, is the security of the region, this came after the US airstrikes on the mentioned countries.

Abdollahian added during a meeting with UK Foreign Secretary, David Cameron, that “The continuation of the war is not a solution, and do not test the anger of the region.”

Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a statement in which it considered the US bombardment on sites belonging to its militias in Syria and Iraq is “an adventure and strategic mistake.”

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani had previously claimed that “This aggression is a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria and Iraq.”

Kanaani pointed out that the US attack on sites in Syria and Iraq is an adventure, and it will have no result but escalating the tension.
