The Turkish president heads to the government meeting with an electric autonomous bus
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan went to the cabinet meeting in an electric autonomous bus produced by Turkish engineers.
Today, Monday, through his Twitter account, Erdogan published photos attached to a video of him inside the bus and press statements after introducing them, where he said: “We are heading to the government meeting by an electric autonomous bus in its first version of our domestic production.”
The Turkish president added, “I am confident that our country and our brands in this sector will be known to the world as (companies producing autonomous electric buses) start serial production.”
He pointed out that this bus produced in cooperation between “Carsan” and “Adastike” is one of the ideal products for artificial intelligence, expressing his pleasure to try it in the presidential complex.
He added, “With serial production in the next stage, diesel and gasoline will be canceled, and everything will be converted to electric energy. These are the first steps for clean energy that the world is heading to.”
The length of the bus is 8 meters, and it travels at a speed between 25 and 30 km per hour, and it is sensitive to pedestrians and traffic lights.
