He added, “The United States will act as a partner to confront global challenges. This pandemic constitutes one of these challenges and provides us with an opportunity not only to overcome the current crisis, but to become more prepared and able to resist in the future.”
Blinken added that the United States “will also provide substantial financial support” to the international Kovacs mechanism to distribute vaccines to the poorest countries
“All countries should provide all the data as soon as an epidemic begins,” Blinken noted.
