The Civil Defense finds a mass grave in the city of Al-Bab in the countryside of Aleppo
Yesterday, Wednesday, civil defense teams found a mass grave in the northern countryside of Aleppo in the city of Al-Bab.
In an exclusive interview with Fresh Online, Director of the Media Office of the Civil Defense, Ibrahim Abu Laith, said, “Our teams found seven unidentified bodies, while working to remove rubble from the outskirts of Al-Bab city in the Al-Sadd area in the northern countryside of Aleppo.”
Abu Laith added, “The bodies were transferred and documented in the hospital, while the civil defense teams are still working on the issue of recovering the bodies,” explaining that “it is expected that there are about five other bodies within the place.”
Regarding the presence of other bodies in the Aleppo countryside, the Director of the Media Office of the Civil Defense confirmed, “The civil defense teams had previously found several mass graves, after the area witnessed many battles.”
It is noteworthy that the civil defense teams found other bodies previously, including: two unidentified bodies in the city of al-Bab on February 3 of this year, and a mass grave in the city of Azaz, on 11-28-2020.
