A fire in the “Talmans” camp near the city of Kafr Takharim, northwest of Idlib

Yesterday, Saturday, a group of tents in the “Talmans” camp for the displaced in Jabal Al-Duwailah, near the city of Kafr Takharim, northwest of Idlib, was burned down, after a fire broke out in one of the tents.

In an exclusive interview with Fresh, Jamal Abu Ayyoub, director of the “Talmans” camp, said: “A fire broke out in one of the tents in Jabal Al-Duwailah near the city of Kafr Takharim in the northwestern countryside of Idlib.”

The director added, “Two tents were completely burnt, and one of the displaced people suffocated slightly,
He was taken to the nearest medical point and received the necessary treatment, and the damage was limited to materials.”

He explained, that it was a result of one of the residents using the wrong wood heater, which caused the tents to burn
It is noteworthy that many similar fires broke out in the camps for the displaced in separate areas of Idlib and Aleppo countryside in northwestern Syria, some of which caused the death of children and women and the injury of others with burns.
