Qatar: We continue our efforts to stop Israel’s attacks on the Palestinians

Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani confirmed, yesterday, Tuesday, that his country is continuing its efforts with international parties to stop the Israeli attacks against the Palestinian people everywhere,
This came during a phone call in which Prince Mahmoud Abbas, Palestinian President, discussed the latest developments and situations in the city of Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip.

Since Monday, 29 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 850 wounded, as a result of continuous violent Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

For more than a week, the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem has witnessed confrontations between the Israeli police and its Palestinian residents, in solidarity with them, as 12 families face the risk of eviction from their homes in favor of settlers according to decisions issued by Israeli courts.
