Palestinian Prime Minister: We will file a complaint with the Criminal Court against Israel for committing war crimes in Gaza
Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh said in a statement released by his office today, Friday, “The Palestinian government will file a complaint with the International Criminal Court against Israel for committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip, including the extermination of entire families.”
He added, “The government will take the crimes committed by Israel against children and women to the Criminal Court, which has previously opened an investigation into the Israeli crimes committed during the three wars launched by Israel on Gaza.”
He explained, “The residents of the Gaza Strip have been subjected to killings, intimidation and genocide over the past 11 days.”
Shtayyeh pointed out that during this Israeli war, more than 20 entire families were wiped out, dozens of children, women and elderly people were killed, and hundreds were injured due to the massive destruction of facilities, buildings, buildings and residential towers, and dozens of homes were demolished on the heads of their residents.
He also indicated that Israel destroyed all components of life in the crises-laden Gaza Strip, due to the unjust siege imposed on it for more than 15 years.
In the same statement, the Palestinian Prime Minister welcomed the success of the international efforts that were made over the past days to stop the Israeli aggression against the people of the Gaza Strip.
Days ago, Amnesty International (Amnesty) called on the International Criminal Court to investigate war crimes that Israel may have committed in its attacks on the Gaza Strip, including the killing of a family of 10 in the Beach Camp, and the bombing of the Al-Galaa Tower, which housed the offices of Al-Jazeera and the Associated Agency American and other international and local media.
