UNRWA: The situation of Palestinian refugees in Syria is tragic
UNRWA Commissioner-General Philip Lazzarini said that more than 90 percent of Palestinians in Syria live below the poverty line, and many live on one meal a day.

He stated that “there is a deficit in the agency’s budget, which has reached 150 million dollars in the middle of 2021,” calling for exploring all possible ways and means to provide additional support to the agency, or to speed up making donations by mid-August.
